Conservation Catalysts
Our team has worked tirelessly to create a curriculum to be implemented into elementary schools throughout Utah. We know that the vast majority of our state's population is not aware of the problems among Utah's bodies of water. More specifically, we know that the best way to start working towards finding a solution is raising awareness and spreading word to the youth of today who will be able to make a difference in the future of tomorrow.
As a result, we have created a curriculum (main lesson, algae lab, word puzzles) and a picture book to bring into 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade classrooms to educate about this issue. If you would like to utilize our resources with your students, follow the links below!

Conservation Catalysts: University Outreach
|
In addition to our work with the elementary schools, our team of Conservation Catalysts is currently partnering with many Utah colleges/universities to help raise awareness about this issue and spread word about what we are doing to help. We will be setting up at Brigham Young University on Thursday, March 5 from 10:30-1. We will have a table with our poster (seen in the slideshow), Conservation Catalysts business cards/brochures, our website, as well as our "Water Wheel of Fortune" (soon to be featured to the left), which will allow college students to spin the wheel and learn about various good and bad scenarios regarding water quality. We are planning a potential meeting with Westminster College, and we have also been working closely with Utah State University.
